Our staff loves music and having ACL in our backyard is quite the treat. Not to mention, we are grateful for our relationship with C3 Presents as their official housing partner for Austin City Limits Festival. Now that we are clearing the haze from Weekend #1, the Crew at H4H can provide our insiders tips for Weekend #2.
HOTELS: There are still rooms available. Visit our booking portal for the guaranteed lowest rates.
TICKETS: There are still tickets available. Visit the ACL website for different ticket options.
PARKING: People can park at One Texas Center and pay $10 per day. Along Lamar and Barton Springs we noticed a number of businesses charging to park in their lots (~ $25 per day). Admittedly, we are bigger fans of riding our bikes (ACL has complimentary bike racks).
SHUTTLE: Capital Metro offers a complimentary shuttle from Republic Square (4th and Guadalupe)
EATING: The food at ACL is always great – don’t think normal festival food. This year, we gravitated towards 2nd Bar + Kitchen‘s pork belly sandwich, Mighty Cone‘s chicken, Torchy’s Taco‘s trailer park taco, and ice cream from Amy’s.
WEATHER: Austin is preparing for another great weekend. Festival patrons should expect hot temperatures during the day (mid 90’s), with chances of rain on both Saturday and Sunday.
MUSIC: Everyone has their own musical preferences – which is why ACL appeals to such a diverse audience. Our only recommendation, see Lionel Richie as his music/energy/performance transcends generations.
Enjoy another great weekend of ACL Festival 2013!
